The Golden W.H.E.E.L. has contributed more than $1,100,000 in philanthropic endeavors to meet the needs of home and family in our surrounding community, with the West Valley Child Crisis Center being one of our largest recipients! Proudly, we have also funded more than $564,000 in college scholarships for Arizona high school students committed to fulfilling their dream of a college education and look forward to continuing this rich heritage.

Each April a lovely dinner is held to honor and recognize the students who have been selected to receive a $4,000 Golden W.H.E.E.L. Scholarship. At this dinner, the students are recognized for their achievements not only in education, but in the community as well.

MALETA HAMBLIN
MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

Maleta Hamblin was one of the founding members of the Golden W.H.E.E.L. Organization. The Hamblin family, in partnership with the Golden W.H.E.E.L. Organization, has created this scholarship in her memory. Maleta's vision was to help students in the West Valley achieve and even surpass their dreams of education. Maleta found great pride in the strength of youth in our community and understood their role in our future. In 2006, Maleta lost her courageous battle with cancer. She left behind her husband, five children and eleven grandchildren. Maleta has left her family with a strong legacy that children are a treasure and that education is the key to their future. The Golden W.H.E.E.L. Organization is very dedicated to the continuing education of the youth in our community. We are honored to partner with the Hamblin family in presenting the Maleta Hamblin Memorial Scholarship.

GEOFFREY CUZICK MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

Geoffrey Cuzick, a 2002 graduate of Centennial High School, placed a high value on education, setting and achieving both academic and athletic goals during his time as a student at Centennial, and then again as a student at Arizona State University. In 2009, Geoff passed away after a year-long battle with cancer. It is an honor for The Golden WH.E.E.L. organization to join with Geoff's family in providing an annual scholarship to a Centennial High School graduate with similar academic dreams and goals.
